Shri Padmamani Jain Arts and Commerce College

The main mission of the college is to provide higher education facilities in the rural and remote area of Pabal, Shirur. Before the establishment of this college in Aug 2000, seeking higher education was very time and money consuming process for students. The percentage of students taking higher education was very low. But after the establishment of this college there is considerable rise in this percentage.

Now the students are acquainted with various skills like soft skills, personality development skills, behavioral skills, etc. Most of the students are computer literate. The college makes the students and villagers aware about the opportunity in higher education and challenges in the world of globalization. The students are also made conscious about environmental and social responsibility.
